It is 16 Km from Cape Town and 5 Km from Hout Bay village, which gives this sanctuary its peaceful atmosphere, free of traffic and pollution.
The beaches are clean with soft white sand and refreshing seawater. The area boasts of its low crime rate owing to there being o­nly o­ne entrance into the area and the 24 hour security / medical presence.
