As its name implies, Casa Vereguth is truly a masterpiece of fine luxury accommodation in Cape Town. Architecturally designed in a classic Tuscan style, all the rooms in the house have the most spectacular views o­n the Atlantic Seaboard. This spectacular Cape Town villa nestles at the foot of Lions Head, backing o­nto a nature reserve. Although in the hub of the Clifton vacation area, the house is uniquely positioned at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac road. Neighbouring Camps Bay, o­nly a few minutes drive away, offers an array of restaurants and cafes o­n the promenade, whether for fine dining or a relaxing coffee or light breakfast. The night-life of the City Bowl is a 5 minute drive over Kloof Nek o­n the other side of Lions Head Mountain. The house is in easy walking distance and just 2 minutes by car from the world-renowned beaches at Clifton – where o­n a perfect summer’s day o­ne can laze o­n a pristine white beach, watching luxury yachts anchored in the bay.
Casa Vereguth is ideal for 6 people, offering 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have en-suite bathrooms and there is a self-contained room at the back of the house for extra guests. The main bedroom has a fire-place as well as air-conditioning and all rooms are furnished in a cool, minimalist way using neutral tones. There are television sets in all bedrooms. The bedrooms all flow o­nto a big balcony with exquisite sea views and are o­n a separate level to the living area.

The voluminous living area is accessed from the spacious main entrance which has a tinkling Venetian Fountain and a frescoed stairwell. Leading into a superbly spacious and light living area is a dining room that seats 18 people comfortably. The sliding doors open o­nto a huge balcony with a bar. Stocked with South Africa’s finest wines, a grotto-design wine cellar leads off the dining room. Casa Vereguth is an entertainers dream . The ultra modern kitchen is open-plan to the living area but can also be closed off completely. The interior design is classically minimalist using natural elements such as stone, leather and steel. Turkish, Persian and Silk carpets and oil paintings by well known South African artists complement the ambience. The flow and spaciousness of the entertainment area could easily accommodate a wedding or a corporate function for 100 people.

An unusual feature of Casa Vereguth is a full size movie theatre with surrounding sound. This room opens o­nto a garden with a fountain. The house also has television sets in 7 rooms including the gym. The study has ISDN Internet connection.

Casa Vereguth is ideal for outdoor entertainment, meetings o­n the sea-facing balcony or an alfresco lunch in the mountain-facing garden. The secluded pool area has a rock waterfall flowing into the swimming pool. An air-conditioned state-of-the-art gym is located close to the pool for that quick dip after an invigorating workout. There is secure garaging for 2 cars plus 4 outdoor parking bays. Security is of prime importance with a good security alarm system as well as armed response services.
